Graphic Design is also known as communication design. Which defines it better because that's what it is all about: communicating through design! They say "a picture is worth a thousand words" Imagine the impact when you combine that picture with those thousand words. That's the magic of Graphic Design!
Annual Reports
Annual reports may sound tedious design work, because they don't seem to require much creativity in terms of design. But that's where you have to get creative in the technicality of the layout. Margins, grids, styles, structure and the right balance to showcase the design in a way that is true to contents, visually appealing and technically perfect.
I have done the design and layout of a scads of annual reports across the course of my career. They are one of my favourite kind of design work because they challenge me to be creative in terms of design as well as technicality.
Sustainability Reports
Sustainability reports offer more freedom to use brighter colours and graphical elements because they focus more on environment rather than the corporate aspect of the business.
Nevertheless, the technical aspect remains true for them as well, because it is the actual barebone of any report.
Though I’ve designed many sustainability reports, GEMS Sustainability Report for the year 2017-2018 stands out the most and was very well praised & admired by the client as well as the target audience.
Coffee Table Books
I remember someone asked me once, “If you have to design only one kind of publication for the rest of your career, what will be your pick?" And I answered without a second's hesitation: “Coffee Table Books”.
They are classy, elegant, beautifully crafted pieces of art. And the fact that they allow me to work with photos and incorporate my photography skills into the design and layout just adds to the list of reasons why I adore them!

I recently had the pleasure to design and layout the first edition of the Architecture book for The Louvre Abu Dhabi. It's a visual story-telling journey of the masterpiece that the museum is! The book is being sold in the Boutique of the museum.
